Americaֳ¢ֲ€ֲ™s military can accomplish complex challenges and conquer strong armies and air forces with relatively few people compared to the past.These ֳ¢ֲ€ֲœjobsֳ¢ֲ€ֲ werenֳ¢ֲ€ֲ™t outsourced to China or anywhere else. They are just GONE! So the challenge will be to figure out to build and sustain a ֳ¢ֲ€ֲœconsumer marketplaceֳ¢ֲ€ֲ in an essentially automated society.The future as depicted in Star Trek, The Next Generation, was one in which everyoneֳ¢ֲ€ֲ™s basic needs were met by the government, yet individuals still chose fields of education, training and endeavor for personal fulfillment.Well, today our government is printing and handing out lost of money with nothing tangible behind those additional dollars. It remains to be seen if western societies can become sustainable and content on this path.
